LEGAL / ORDERS

Sales, Shipping & Warranty Policy

Plain-language terms for custom products, production, delivery, corrections, and support.

Last updated August 22, 2026

1. Custom work and payment

Most 3DPrintLab products are made to order. Unless a written quote states otherwise, full payment is required before design or production begins. Prices, taxes, shipping, scope, included revisions, deliverables, and estimated timing will be confirmed in the quote or invoice.

2. Approvals and changes

You are responsible for reviewing names, spelling, links, QR destinations, colors, dimensions, quantities, and other proof details before approval. Screen colors and additive-manufactured finishes may vary slightly from the finished piece. Changes requested after approval may require a change fee, additional materials, and a revised schedule.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may request cancellation before design or production begins. Once design work, programming, material purchasing, or production has started, completed labor, custom materials, processing charges, and produced items are nonrefundable. Because custom products cannot ordinarily be resold, approved custom orders are final sale except for a verified defect, transit damage, or an error by 3DPrintLab.

Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable right or remedy provided by applicable law.

4. Production and shipping

Typical production is approximately one week, but every schedule is an estimate until confirmed in writing and can vary with scope, approvals, material availability, equipment, quantity, and shipping. We will ship within the promised time. If no shipping time is stated, we will ship within the period required by applicable law. If a material delay occurs, we will provide an updated date and any cancellation or refund option required by law.

Shipping charges are stated separately when applicable. Please provide an accurate, secure delivery address. Report visible transit damage promptly and preserve the packaging so we can pursue the carrier claim. Local pickup or delivery arrangements will be confirmed directly.

5. Inspection and correction

Inspect the order promptly. Report a claimed manufacturing defect, incorrect item, programming error, or shipping damage to em@3dprintlab.co within seven calendar days after delivery, with the order information and clear photos or video. We may request return or inspection. If we verify a covered issue, we will choose an appropriate correction, reprogramming, repair, replacement, or refund.

6. Limited workmanship warranty

For 30 days after delivery, 3DPrintLab warrants that the product will materially match the approved written specifications and be free from material manufacturing defects under ordinary intended use. This limited warranty does not cover normal layer lines or minor cosmetic variation inherent to the selected process; misuse; impact; alteration; improper installation; cleaning chemicals; excessive heat, sunlight, moisture, or outdoor exposure when the product was not expressly sold as outdoor-rated; customer-supplied files or dimensions; ordinary wear; or changes and outages involving third-party links or platforms.

7. NFC, QR, links, and compatibility

We test included NFC and QR functions before delivery. The customer is responsible for maintaining the destination account, URL, permissions, and content. Tap performance can vary by phone model, settings, case, reader position, interference, and platform behavior. QR readability depends on lighting, print condition, camera, distance, and contrast. Platform suspensions, changed URLs, account restrictions, service outages, and third-party policy changes are outside our control.

8. Materials and intended environment

Material performance depends on geometry, load, temperature, UV exposure, chemicals, installation, and use. Unless expressly identified in writing, products are decorative or commercial-display items and are not certified for structural, life-safety, food-contact, medical, electrical, automotive, aerospace, child-safety, or other regulated use. Tell us the intended environment before approval so we can recommend an appropriate material and scope.
