FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The details, before we begin.
Start with engineering, CAD, and prototype questions, then explore NFC products, production, payment, and delivery.
01What files should I send for a 3D printing quote?+
Send STL or 3MF for print geometry, or STEP if the design may need modification. Include units, overall dimensions, quantity, and a photo or explanation of the intended use.
02Can you help if I do not have a printable file?+
Yes. Start with a sketch, dimensions, photos, and the problem you want to solve. CAD design can be scoped as part of the project.
03Can you make a functional replacement part?+
We can review a replacement-part project. Include the original geometry, mating components, loads, and environment so material and design requirements can be assessed. Fit and performance requirements need to be agreed before fabrication.
04Can you create CAD from a sketch or photos?+
Yes. A sketch or reference photo can begin the discussion, but accurate dimensions and functional requirements are needed to define the model. We identify missing measurements during scoping.
05Do I need CAD design or just 3D printing?+
If you already have suitable geometry, printing may be enough. If the part needs to be created, resized at critical features, or redesigned to fit an assembly, CAD work may be required.
06Can CAD design and prototype printing be one project?+
Yes. We can scope the design and physical prototype together, with an agreed review point before fabrication.
07What is the difference between a prototype and a production part?+
A prototype is built to evaluate an idea or requirement. Production parts need an agreed design and fabrication specification. Passing a visual or fit check does not by itself establish long-term performance.
08How do I prepare for a prototype quote?+
Send a model or sketch, dimensions, quantity, deadline, intended environment, and the question the prototype should answer. Include any parts it needs to fit or attach to.
09Can you help iterate after the first prototype?+
Yes. Design changes and additional builds can be scoped after reviewing the first version. Revision work and repeat fabrication are confirmed in the project quote.
10What can a LuxeStand open?+
Any web link: Google reviews, booking pages, Wi-Fi setup, menus, payment pages, social profiles, contact cards, or a multi-link page.
11Does the customer need an app?+
No. Compatible phones open the NFC link with a tap, and every stand also includes a QR code.
12How long does an order take?+
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days after design approval. Larger or more complex orders may require additional time.
13How many revisions are included?+
Two design revisions are included. We begin production after you approve the final design.
14Can every stand in a bulk order have a different link?+
Yes. The visual system can stay consistent while each stand is programmed for a different agent, station, department, or location.
15When is payment due?+
Ready-to-order and listed custom products are paid securely through Square at checkout. Quote-based projects require full payment before design work begins.
16Do you ship?+
Yes. Local pickup and delivery options are also available depending on location.
17Can you create something outside the listed sizes?+
Yes. Use the custom quote option and describe the installation, dimensions, quantity, and goal.
